This is the home girl Coco Jones that offers that double threat of being a talented singer and rapper. On this song "Liquor" she's singing and bringing that raw emotional soul to the table. Coco is someone that you need to watch out for. She's been doing her thing in the ATL and in the past couple of months she has been stepping her game up and really going all out. The other homie Jawz of Life does his thing as always finding his star moment on the song without taking away. What do you think about this song?

Dope video from a group that has been holding true to their niche for years. There's a lot I want to say when I think of how I met Collective Efforts (CE) but I won't now because it will take away from this post which is about you checking out their new video (but I will sometime later because it will make a great blog post). I love the live sound and the simple behind the scenes vibe of the video. The lyrics are on point on this record and I will be pressing replay. Thank you to Senor Kaos and www.thekaoseffect.com for alerting me to this video.

It's rare that I meet artists now that are really fans of the music. That go to shows that they're not on the bill and support the other talent. Or even stay after they rock and watch everyone else. Catalyst and Ty Vicious are really two nice guys but don't get it twisted when they hit that stage they' are there to put in work and maybe even steal the show.
You know I have to give background history so here it goes; I met the Nice Guise via Branon of Speak Easy Promotions earlier this year. I've watch these two very quietly but steadily make a lane for themselves in the ATL Hip Hop scene in 2009. Their performances are always on point and their records are good. "Box Of Dutches" happens to be my favorite as of right now but I admit I have to check out their entire album. Pay attention artists these dude actually have a fan base (meaning people who pay to see them perform). I'm putting them on my 2010 Tru Skool Rising Freshman List to look out for (coming before the end of the year).

Thanks to the fam at www.atlpeaches.com for getting this exclusive footage. Yeah it's clear that I really like this group. To my lyrical cats that disagree I challenge you to make a better record. If it was just about lyrics then we would be doing poetry. Emceeing is about lyrics, delivery, presence and the ability to Move the Crowd. I'm 36 and have been a fan of Hip Hop since I was 5 years old. Kurtis Blow, Busy Bee, Joe Ski Love, B Fats, Sugar Hill Gang, Audio Two and Rob Bass are all non lyrical cats that have made hip hop classics. If they came out today some of you closed minded cats would've hated on those classics. Think about it.

So it's going down December 4th at Spring4th Center 728 Spring St. Atlanta, GA. Big ups to B.O.B who's the headliner of the show and to Playboy Tre who will also be performing. They're family and you already know they come and get busy. Other than them two artists that's where the respect ends. That's all I'm going to say. And this is me Big Tah speaking not Stanza. This is a performance that you're going to need to come out and see. We have a new Show, New Records and the ones that you come to like. Another words we're taking it to the next level. So if you've seen Stanza perform before I can say that you've never seen this show and if you haven't seen him perform but have been hearing about him then this is the show that you need to be at because its going down!!!
There are some other artists on the bill that went and got the big head so now we going to see who's really the next to go out of the A. There's a difference from having a real fan base and drinking buddies. Again this is Big Tah talking not Stanza or Knox. So anyone that feels a way can direct that energy to me. This game is a competition and we can either run together or you can try to compete against us. Either way lets play.
If you got love for Stanza and his music then it's important that you come out and show your support this night because like Jay Z says Men lie, Women lie but numbers don't.
Get your $10 Advance Tickets to the show by clicking on the link below. We can't guarantee that it will be $10 at the door all night.
Just incase you haven't heard the new Stanza single "D.U.I." go ahead and check it out.
Stay tuned we are relaunching the www.iamstanza.com in a few days.
